Banham Patent Locks Ltd was founded in 1926 by William F. Banham and has been protecting property since that date.
He invented the first Banham automatic door bolt and became a pioneer in the production of high quality locks.
Both the police and insurance industry have praised these locks.
Our locks which have a unique registration system are still protected by worldwide patents, hence the word ‘patent’ in our company name.
The Banham Group of companies is still owned and run by the Banham family, and the company’s present Chairman is the founder’s son. In this age of large impersonal conglomerates, there are few companies of our size that can be as proud of a family history going back as far as ours. Our first showroom was opened in Oxford Street, and the company has now expanded to cover most aspects of domestic and commercial security, and has showrooms throughout the South East. |

Banham is now the largest supplier of domestic security systems in London.
For five years we have won the coveted Gold Alarm Performance Award issued by the Metropolitan Police.
No other company has ever achieved this record.
The award is given annually to the company that has the least number of false alarms.
False alarms waste the time of both the police and the customer, and by keeping them to the minimum we are able to save both time and money and ensure that our customers retain their police response.
